Srabasti is from West Bengal, India. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Hogghly Mohsin College under University of Burdwan in 2023. She did her 2 years Masters in Chemistry from IIT Bombay in 2023-25. In her 2nd year, she completed her thesis under prof. Ramaswamy Murugavel on "Bimetallic Ruthenium catalyzed synthesis of amine via reductive amination". She joined Larrosa group on October 2025. Her project focuses on Ruthenium catalysed C-H functionalization of aromatic ketones. Her hobbies include singing and listening to music.
