Simon Allan Williams is from North Devon, England. He obtained a Masters of Chemistry with Medical Chemistry from Keele University in 2023 with a thesis on a modification to thieno-pyridine under Dr Mike Edwards. He is currently undertaking a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Igor Larrosa and Prof. David Leys with focus on chemo-enzymatic reactions around carboxylation. Outside from the laboratory Simon enjoys walks and wild swimming, the gym and D&D.
