26 July: The walls rise

After a brief delay due to the weather, the bricklayers begin.
Up to the damp-proof course Keeping the bricks nice and dry.

27 July: The walls rise some more

Above waist level now. View from the other side
Two days work on the external wall

28 July: Beginnings of a back door

A delay in delivery of bricks slows progress a little.

29 July: We have a wall

It's all taking shape. Above head height.

30 July: Internal walls begin to appear

Look - internal blockwork. And insulation too.
