- Collagen and oxidised regenerated cellulose
- Formed into a sheet 3mm thick
- Absorbs liquid from wound exudate and forms a comfortable biodegradable gel
- Physically binds and inactivates MMPs
- Gel also binds GFs protecting them from the MMPs and releases them back into the wound as the gel is degraded
