Stockport Hydro
Since about 2011 I've been involved in a local community owned hydropower station on the River Goyt, near Marple: Stockport Hydro.
Since October 2012 it has been generating power, roughly 200MWhs each year (an average of about 23kW, enough for over 50 houses).
