Buzzard Project
The 15 month Buzzard project was undertaken by Post-Doc Chris Stevenson. It integrated learnings from core, well log, chemostratigraphy, seismic and production datasets to propose a new reservoir model for the Buzzard Field. The project leveraged SLOPE-consortium outcrop analogue data to guide interpretations on various Buzzard sedimentological elements.
The fundamental concept was to understand the balance of forces between active rifting, sea-level fluctuations and system progradation in order to predict reservoir connectivity ahead of a new phase of field development
