Professor of Virtual Environments

Until my retirement in January 2010, I was head of the Advanced Interfaces Group.

I continue to hold a position as Professor Emeritus at the University of Manchester. In this capacity my main activity is creating an archive of early computer graphics at Manchester.

I am no longer accepting students for PhD study. Nor do I undertake external duties, such as reviewing.
