Project: Experimental characterization of foam drainage for protein separations

The group has started to make sound progress in characterising the mass transfer processes which occur within a foam fractionation column with added reflux or wash water. This experimental project will involve characterising the drainage process for a wide range of surfactants and proteins. This will deliver valuable data for the group's development of the mass transfer model.
