Back in 2016, the IMPRES group initiated Colloquium Series on “Porous Media: from Theory to Application”. We believe that the skills and subjects researched across the faculty of departments of Chemical Engineeing, Earth Sciences, Mechanical, Civil, and Aerospace Engineering, as well as Maths and Physics have significant synergy to explore and the external speakers focused on porous media research will bring extra momentum to the researchers across schools. As such, we are planning colloquium talks. The purpose will be to present on-going research and help forging new collaborations in the hope that this will enhance research across Schools at the University of Manchester as well as with other external institutes. If you are interested in receiving regular updates or interested in giving a talk please contact Prof Vahid Niasar .
