In my lab (PADLab) at the University of Manchester, U.K. we use a combination of behavioural and computational modelling approaches to study the neural mechanisms underpinning human perception, action and decision making. At the heart of my research is the key principle that the brain acts to use available information optimally when appropriate cognitive and perceptual constraints are taken into account.
