- CD4+: blood stage Plasmodium yoelli
- CD8+: liver stage Plasmodium berghei:
- Th1: Intracellular parasites
- Th2: Extracellular parasites
Secrete IFNγ:inhibits multiplication of parasites in hepatocytes
Destroys infected hepatocytes
