Bio

I am a first-year postgraduate researcher in the Natural Language Processing and Text Mining Group within the Department of Computer Science of The University of Manchester, under the supervision of Riza Theresa Batista-Navarro, Viktor Schlegel and Farideh Jalali-najafabadi, where in the same research group I obtained my MSc degree. Before that, I was a research assistant in the NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Translational Research Centre and the School of Social Sciences at The University of Manchester, where I was fortunate to work with Niels Peek, David A Jenkins and Riza Theresa Batista-Navarro. Piror to Manchester, I received my bachelor's degree from Heilongjiang University. Here is my CV.

Research Interests

I have broad interests in natural language processing and machine learning. Particularly, I am interested in how to develop robust machine reading comprehension systems with human-level language understanding capabilities and how they can be applied in the healthcare domain.
