BMVC Manchester 2020
7-10 September 2020

The British Machine Vision Conference (BMVC) is the British Machine Vision Association's annual conference on machine vision, image processing and pattern recognition.
It is one of the major international conferences on computer vision and related areas held in the UK.
Because of growing interest in the conference it is no longer practical to hold the conference at a University venue as has been traditional for the last 30 events.
Instead, this year it will be held at the Principal Hotel, in the heart of Manchester.

Why come to Manchester?

Manchester is the birthplace of the industrial revolution, and one of the first industrial cities in the world.
Manchester has a proud history in science, politics, music arts and sport.
It's easy to get to by train, plane, canal boat, bicycle or foot.
The conference venue is directly opposite Manchester's Oxford Road station, and within walking distance of the many delights of the city centre.
Swoon at the glories of Manchester's Central Library.
Gasp at the wonders within the Science and Industry Museum.
Stroll around Media City, the northern home to the BBC.
I understand that we have some football teams too.
There's something for everyone!
