This talk will discuss topological properties of attractors, non-saddle sets, isolated invariant sets and of their Morse decompositions. We adopt the point of view of the Conley index theory, in which information about the topological properties of isolating neighborhoods of invariant sets of flows is used to obtain knowledge about dynamical properties of these sets.
