I was born in Abarán, Spain, in 1978. I received the B.S. degree in Physics and the Ph. D. degree in Control Engineering from the University of Murcia, Spain, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. My dissertation was focused on Stability of Reset Control Systems, supervised by Prof. A. Baños and Prof. A. Arenas and supported by Government of Spain.
From October 2009 to September 2010, I was with the Institute of Measurement and Automatic Control, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Hanover, Germany. In October 2010, I joined the Control Systems Group, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Manchester, U.K., where I was working as research associate in absolute stability and robust antiwindup control design, under the supervision of Dr. W. Heath and Dr. A. Lanzon. Since November 2011, I am Lecturer in Control Systems.
I have been a Visiting Researcher at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, U.S., supervised by A. van der Schaft and Y. Chait, respectively.
