Warwick Symposium
During 2001/2002 a year-long symposium on Mechanics and Symmetry will
be held at the Mathematics Research
Centre at the University of Warwick. It will begin with the second MASESS summer school (in
France!). If you are interested in participating, contact Mark Roberts. The first
workshop will be on Geometry and Symmetry in Continuum Mechanics, at
Warwick, 9-15 December 2001.

MASIE UK
The LMS is sponsoring a series of meetings in the UK on topics related
to MASIE. The next one is Homoclinics and
Heteroclinics at Imperial College on December 6, 2000. For
