You may like to visit the area either before or after the Summer School, so I have collected a few web-sites that you might find useful. I have not succeeded in finding a map on the web which shows Peyresq.

Hotels in Nice

You may need to stay the night before or the night after in a hotel in Nice. There are of course many such hotels, and September should not be too bad for finding a room. A hotel that is often used for visitors to the Maths department is the Hotel Notre Dame (Tel: ), which costs about 300FF/night. There are also cheaper (and seedier!) hotels near the station. It will probably not be possible for the grant to reimburse hotel expenses in Nice.
