Euro Summer School

The first of two European Summer Schools on Mechanics and Symmetry.

Dates:
Arrival: Sunday 3rd September, 2000
Departure: Saturday 16th September, 2000.

Location: Peyresq, France (not far from Nice)

Funding: MASESS is partially funded by the European Union, and travel and subsistence is available for European "young researchers" (aged at most 35).

Geometrical Integrators for N-Body Problems Ben Leimkuhler (Leicester)
Topology of Integrable Systems Richard Cushman (Utrecht)
Hamiltonian Bifurcations James Montaldi (Nice)
Hamiltonian Methods for Fluids and Plasmas Darryl D. Holm (Los Alamos)
Each course will consist of up to 6 90-minute lectures.

There will also be other individual lectures on topics close to the lecture courses
