Cost of MASESS
The cost of a shared room is 200FF per day, including 3 meals, and
numerous coffees/teas/soft drinks.
Funding for MASESS participants
Funding is available for young researchers according to
European Union rules (since they are paying):
To obtain funding (100% of both travel and living expenses) a
participant must satisfy both the following criteria:
- Aged 35 or under at start of summer school (allowances can be made
for childcare or compulsory military service);
- Nationals of a member state* or an associated
state of the EU;
Unfortunately, there is no funding available for any other
participant. Not even partial funding.
*EU Member states:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands,
Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
