Understanding microgravity
- Gravity is the attraction between two masses
- The acceleration of an object torward the ground (gravity alone) near the Earth's surface is called normal gravity (1g)
- Objects inside a space station appear to float in a state known as zero gravity (0g) or more accurately microgravity (1x10-6g)
