Mathematics on Stamps

This is my stamps collection about Mathematics, for which I am much refereed by the website "History of Mathematics" of the University of St. Andrew and the Stanley Gibbons stamp catalogue. For some souvenir sheets, I use the numbers of Scott's. The stamps are arranged by alphabetical order of mathematicians' names below.

"...Archimedes will be remembered when Aeschylus is forgotten, because languages die but mathematical ideas do not. 'Immortality' may be a silly word, but probably a mathematician has the best chance of whatever it may mean..."

"A mathematician's apology" - G. H. Hardy
