HTML Special Characters

Below is a list of the special characters pre-defined in XHTML 1.0, and the codes you will need to use to get them. Each code starts with an ampersand (&) and ends with a semicolon (;).

Be warned - some of the codes for these characters are case sensitive. In other words, Æ is not the same as æ.
