CHEN30101 | Questionnaire responses | October 2018 The overwhelming majority of the questionnaires (~50) contained only positive comments and did not raise any issues. A handful of the questionnaires were critical of aspects of the course. Responses to the critical comments are below. c1. Notes are not really that helpful (need more examples) .. r1. There are a range of examples on the 6 problem sheets: full solutions will be provided to all these problems (around 100) c2. Paper & computer tutorial solutions would be better kept separate .. r2. I think that it is better to keep them integrated: the objective of the course is to learn how to solve problems that arise in chemical engineering applications: some of these can be solved by hand, others need a computer. c3. More support during computer sessions is needed .. r3. Two PhD students will be helping at the support session from week 5. c4. Examples class should be more interactive .. r4. I might explore this option after the mid-semester break End of responses.
