Dr Clara Cheung
Lecturer in Project Management
Overview
Clara is a Lecturer in Project Management and Project Management Professional (PMP). She joined the university in January 2017. Prior to that, she has over seven-year experience teaching a variety of project management units in the University of Maryland, the USA. Clara has a mixed of business and engineering educational background. She got a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, MSc and PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, the USA. Her research interest is studying the dynamics of human behaviours and project performance through conducting interdisciplinary research. Clara’s recent publications include applying positive psychology and leadership theories to study construction safety, and wellbeing at work of project managers. Before being an academic, Clara led a vast number of organisational change projects in Fortune 500 companies to improve supply chain management, experienced working in Australia, China, India, and the USA.
