Welcome to Manchester!

You've probably just arrived in Manchester so you may be feeling a little lost. The pages of this website contain some useful information about Manchester, so that when you go into Manchester you will hopefully understand more of what you see and hear.

This website has 5 main pages with language learning activities. The first one is this one which is the starting page or Home page.

The second page contains a reading text about Manchester with some comprehension questions.

In the third page you can practise your listening skills by listening to 2 language students (just like you!) talking about their experiences when they first came to Manchester. This is followed by a comprehension activity.

The fourth page contains an activity to practise some grammar (comparative and superlatives structures).

On the final page you can find some useful website links relating to Manchester.
