(a) Compare and contrast the forces binding together solid argon and solid sodium chloride. How does this affect their physical properties?

(b) Would you expect a DNA double-helix predominantly composed of G:C base pairs to have a higher or lower melting point than a DNA double-helix which is predominantly A:T rich? Explain your answer.
