It is best to be able to view the DNA structure yourself using molecular modelling software.

Download this file to your computer: dickerson.pdb

Open the modelling program, Rasmol 2.7.2. This can be found by following:

Start menu, All Programs, Programs - Faculty, Faculty of Life Sciences, Scientific, Rasmol 2.7.2

When Rasmol is running, load in dickerson.pdb using File,Open

Then using the mouse you can rotate etc the DNA molecular structure, as well as use the Display menu to show wireframe or space filling representations.
