The Computational chemists in the School of Chemistry use various resources depending on who the group leader is. One of the main facilities is the CSF machine ( The web pages are here ) located in Reynolds House. Reynolds House has a backup generator so if the power grid goes down the CSF facility continues to run. This is run by the University but individual groups buy a node or nodes for their own use. In addition individual groups may have their own resources, housed in the 7^th Floor computer room.

There is also the Universities Condor pool of Machines ( (The condor web pages are here ). This is PCs that are not being used at night having Linux loaded and are then made available for computing.
