My name is Gareth Martin, I'm 28 years old, and I work as an ICT Technician at The Centre for Educational Leadership. CEL is a well established centre of leadership development and change management at The University of Manchester. It has an outstanding reputation as a high quality, integrated centre with significant expertise in research, programme design, development and delivery, consultancy and events organisation.
I grew up in Flint, a small town in North Wales. I moved to Manchester in 2003, and began working at CEL in 2006 after spending the previous five years working as an Administrator for CIPFA Property in Chester. I married my wife Nicola in Florida in May 2008, and our daughter Sophie was born in Salford on 13th May 2010. In my spare time I enjoy football, crown green bowling, cycling and spending time with my family.
I'm very interested in web page authoring, and I'm currently developing my HTML skills to enable me to become more involved in this. I'm also keen to study accountancy in the future, and follow my wife in becoming a fully-qualified accountant.
