For the logistic map \(x_{n+1}=\mu x_{n}(1-x_{n})\), before
\(\mu\) gets into the period-3 window (starting about 3.83), there is a small interval
of values of \(\mu\) such that the orbits are "trapped" into a nearly periodic
orbit with period 3, called intermittency.
