The odd cotangent bundle of the algebra of densities inherits a canonical odd Laplacian and this operator allows us to naturally lift arbitrary functions on $\Pi T^* M$ in a way that preserves the odd Poisson bracket. Using this we can classify all multivector fields on the algebra of densities that obey the master equation and lie above a fixed multivector field on $M$.
