Directions to the Newman Building (School of Mathematics)
The Newman Building is a grey, two storey block on the north side of Booth Street East. It is directly opposite the entrance to the Aquatics Centre multistorey car park, about 20 meters west of the lights at Upper Brook Street and 150 meters east of the lights at Oxford Road. It is also opposite the Ferrari and Maserati dealer on Upper Brook Street.
It is about 15 minute walk from Oxford Road Station, and from Piccadilly Station via the old UMIST campus; it may also be reached from the centre of Manchester by any of the multitude of south-bound buses down Upper Brook Street or Oxford Road.
