Bott towers are families of smooth manifolds which arise in algebraic geometry and the theory of toric varieties. We use their description as iterated sphere bundles to investigate their loop spaces. Our aim is to provide good geometrical models for the loop spaces. We succeed in calculating their Pontryagin rings and elucidating most of their associated cobar constructions.
