Classification of formal group over local fields is of utmost importance for various applications in arithmetic algebraic geometry. There are several known classifications of subclasses of formal groups, by Dieudonné, Honda, Fontaine, Breuil. In this talk we describe two explicit and simple new classifications of formal groups (up to isogeny and up to isomorphism) over a local field of characteristic zero.
