Analytic Topology of Groups and Spaces

There are two ways to make a finitely-generated group geometric: by introducing either time-geometry or space-geometry. I will discuss various geometries and their relation to fundamental analytic properties, like being Kazhdan. The talk is strongly based on the recent paper, Analytic Topology.
