Hodge and Signature Theorems for Singular Manifolds

Eugénie Hunsicker (Loughborough University)

E.Hunsicker@lboro.ac.uk

The Hodge and Signature theorems for smooth compact manifolds are important bridges between the subjects of geometry and topology. For this reason, there has been much interest in extending versions of these theorems to the case of manifolds with singularities. One approach to this is to consider L2 versions of these theorems. In this talk, I will summarize work in this direction from the past 30 years or so, as well as recent results of my own in this area.
