I will explain what a Yang-Baxter map (or a set-theoretical solution to the Yang-Baxter Relation) is and give some examples. In particular, new set-theoretical solutions to the Yang-Baxter Relation will be constructed. These solutions arise from the decompositions "in different order" of matrix polynomials and theta-functions.
