Interests
I'm keen on the novels of Paul Auster, Hilary Mantel and Carol Shields.
I played regularly in Irish music sessions while a D.Phil. student, and occasionally at the Herschel Arms when living in London, though am less active now. I play a 2 1/2 row Saltarelle Connemara box, a source of continual torment.
When time permits, I would like to examine how tunes diffuse through networks in an online community.
I enjoy cooking and eating Indian and Italian food.
I'm currently between sports, though have enjoyed rowing and cycling, having competed in WeHORR, and cycled the towpath from Liverpool to Leeds.
