Answers to common questions:

  • To have a partner is preferable but not necessary (we encourage to change partners every few minutes, unless you prefer to work with a partner you came with).

Dress as you like but non-sticky shoes are needed (for pivoting)

  • Continuity of attendance for all classes is strongly recommended.

Please approach tango classes (as everything else) with an open and critical mind; ask why and do not accept things as correct simply because you heard them repeated by a large number of people. This is the best way to improve and learn. Otherwise, you may limit yourself, miss out, and waste precious time.

  • Parking on Wednesdays in Manchester city centre is free in the car park at the Casino 235 for people coming to tango. All you need is to become a member of the Casino which takes 1 minute of your time by providing an ID at the front desk.
