Interferon
Three types:
- IFNα
- IFNβ
- Both inhibit viral replication in cells
- Increase expression of class II MHC leading to greater susceptibility to cytotoxic T cell killing
- Activate NK cells
- IFNγ
- Lots of roles in adaptive and innate immunity:
