Litton shop is the first village owned and run shop in Derbyshire, it opened in August 1999 and has been providing basic provisions for the village and the many visitors to our area. Please drop in and help support this nonprofit making venture.

The shop also allows;
- village groups and visitor groups to use the refreshment service for small meetings inside in winter and on the green in summer.
- information about local events, products and services is given by adverts and lively sharing of local knowledge by word-of-mouth.
The shop has;
- map showing every named house in Litton
- small library of donated books for sale or hire

One of the shop's strengths is its provision of locally sourced provisions and home-grown fruit and veg.
