Name: Shoko Ishibashi Position: Wellcome Trust Research Associate Email: shoko.ishibashi@manchester.ac.uk Shoko obtained her degree in Biological Science from Kumamoto University in Japan in 1994. She went on to study at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Japan and obtained a masters (1996) and PhD (2001) in Biological Sciences. Shoko was a postdoctoral fellow at the Nara Institute in 2001 and joined the Amaya lab in 2002. Originally based at the Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute in Cambrdige, Shoko relocated to the University of Manchester with the lab in 2006. Shoko is currently working on the development of the gene trap transposon system for insertional mutagenesis in Xenopus tropicalis. Lastest publication: |
