Name: Nick Love Position: Wellcome Trust Research Associate Email: nicholas.love@manchester.ac.uk Nick obtained a degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. He then joined the Amaya lab at the Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute in Cambridge. After completing his MPhil in 2006, Nick joined the lab of Dr. Yoshiki Sasai at the RIKEN: Center for Developmental Biology in Kobe, Japan, before returning to the Amaya Lab in 2007 to begin his PhD. In March 2012, Nick was awarded the Westminster Wharton Medal at the SET for Britain competition held at the House of Commons for his research on the molecular mechanisms underlying appendage regeneration in tadpoles in order to advance research into scar-free healing.
