My name is Houman Dallali and I am a PhD student at the University of Manchester. I obtained my BSc from Iran University of Science and Technology in Electrical and Control Engineering in early 2006. Then I pursued a MSc degree in Automatic Control Engineering at the University of Sheffield where I successfully graduated with distinction. In 2007, I joined the Centre for Interdisciplinary Computational and Dynamical Analysis (CICADA) to pursue my PhD studies. My PhD research focuses on modelling, simulation and implementation of multivariable walking controllers on a humanoid robot called the CoMan. This compliant humanoid robot is under development by the Italian Institute of Technology.
